Since 1990 Johan van Rooy aka Djovaroh has been working as a dancer, singer, actor, DJ, presenter, comedian and model. His career expands from performing in Tv-soaps, musicals, Eurovision songcontests, videoclips, fashionshows, dinnershows, gameshows, commercials, and record label contracted bands. 

At the moment Djovaroh can be booked as a DJ playing house, disco, or jazz, as a jazz singer performing a live show of classics and presenter hosting online and live events and seminars.

In 2024 Djovaroh will release his first EP under his own label Djovaroh-Records.
